ITINERARY

Day 1 - SUNDAY
Meet in Dijon and transfer to 'Finesse,' moored in St-Julien-sur-Dheune on the Canal du Centre. After a welcome reception and crew introductions, settle into your spacious cabins before a gourmet dinner on board.

Day 2 - MONDAY
Cruise to St-Léger-sur-Dheune today for a visit to 14th-century Château de Germolles, a former residence of the Dukes of Burgundy that features a ducal chapel and romantic gardens.

Day 3 - TUESDAY
Travel to Autun this morning, an ancient Roman town with a 17,000-seat amphitheater and 12th-century cathedral. Then cruise to rural Remigny, passing through the famous Santenay wine region.

Day 4 - WEDNESDAY
Drive to Beaune with its 15th-century charity hospital of Hôtel-Dieu. Explore the quaint shops before enjoying a gourmet lunch ashore at Maison Champy in the heart of the Côte de Beaune vineyards. Return to the barge for a cruise past charming Chagny to the village of Rully.

Day 5 - THURSDAY
Cruise to the village of Fragnes with opportunities for walking and cycling along the towpath. After lunch, partake in a private wine tasting at the delightful Domaine Chanzy.

Day 6 - FRIDAY
Cruise onto the Saône River to Chalon-sur-Saône. Visit historic 12th-century Clos de Vougeot. Return to 'Finesse' for a gala farewell dinner on board to celebrate your relaxing week of cruising.

Day 7 - SATURDAY
After breakfast, transfer back to Dijon, arriving in late morning.
