Honeymoon Harbour is a picturesque, secluded beach on Gun Cay and, as the name suggests, it’s perfect for romantics. It also offers incredible snorkelling with crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life and an artificial reef formed by the SS Sapona. Initially commissioned for World War I but not completed until it had ended, the ship was sold and used as a floating warehouse during the prohibition. It ran aground during a hurricane and was then used as target practice for U.S. fighter planes during the Second World War. The partially submerged ship has become a popular dive site and is regularly surrounded by tropical fish.
