Copenhagen > Kangerlussuaq, Greenland
This morning you will fly from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq, where your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht awaits. Formerly known as Jakobshavn, this town is famed for the spectacle of icebergs breaking away from the glacier, a sight emphasised by the rumbling sounds of calving ice from the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier. Witnessing this natural phenomenon is a mesmerising experience, offering a glimpse into the dynamic beauty of Greenland. Today, youll also cruise through the majestic Disko Bay, a region celebrated for its breathtaking natural wonders. Melville Bay

Isabella Bay, Canadas first National Marine Wildlife Area, plays a vital role as a habitat for bowhead whales, with over 100 recorded at one time. This remote sanctuary serves as a crucial feeding and breeding ground for these majestic marine mammals, highlighting its significance in preserving Arctic biodiversity and supporting ongoing research efforts to better understand and protect these iconic species. Enjoy the Captain’s open bridge policy to learn more about the technical abilities of your Discovery Yacht and see it in full operation. The bridge is one of the best viewing areas on the ship, and the bridge crew is expert in wildlife spotting.  Discovery: Join our marine biologists and naturalists in Zodiac excursions to observe bowhead whales in their natural environment.

Today, the sanctuary of the Senses Spa is calling. Book an appointment# with our skillful wellness therapists and surrender yourself to bliss. Sisimiut, Greenland
Greenlands second-largest town, Sisimiut is named after the fox dens that dot its landscape. Its charming streets, lined with colourful houses, lead to vast backcountry areas ripe for exploration. Beyond the towns tranquil facade lies a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking trails, kayaking routes, and wildlife encounters. Dive into the towns cultural heritage through museums and cultural centres, discovering rich Inuit traditions and early settlers legacies. This morning marks the end of your cruise as you arrive in Kangerlussuaq, the gateway to Greenlands stunning wilderness. Please book your flight to depart out of Copenhagen after 11:59 PM. Enjoy a final breakfast on board before saying farewell to the crew and your fellow guests. Continue your journey with a flight to Copenhagen, taking with you memories of an unforgettable voyage. ^Flights on board our two helicopters and submersible tours are at additional cost, subject to regulatory approval, availability, weight restrictions, medical approval and weather conditions. #Spa treatments at additional cost.
